Just How Small Are We in This Immense Universe?

I’ve often wondered how scientists know the number of galaxies in the universe. Then I saw the video below. I cried when I watched this because I was so overwhelmed with the enormity–and beauty–of our universe.

Our lives are small and fleeting in the scheme of things, and yet we get caught up in our events, seeing them as eternal and overwhelming. If we could only step back and see the bigger picture.

We make our world significant by the courage of our questions, and by the depth of our answers. –Carl Sagan

We forget our place, both in how insignificant we are and in how special we are. Let this video give you some perspective. I hope you enjoy it as much as I.

There is Technology that our Government and other governments have, that we can travel at the speed of light to other Galaxy’s in under seconds. This Technology has been around for years. Our Government along with NASA will soon reveal this Technology to the public! We Have better Technology than that showed in the “Star Trek” movies!

Our Government and other Governments are always years ahead in technology remember the GPS 10 or more years ago that wasn’t even available to the public now we have it in the palms of our hands our “Smart Phones”.

In this video the voyager is slow and we will never be able to see far beyond our Galaxy with this kind of Tech in our lifetime. Remember the news about obama saying they are shutting down “NASA Space Shuttle Program well………Why do you think?
