Hartke Online posted a piece yesterday called Small Farmer Warns “HR2749 Will Put Me Out of Business” about the regulatory burden of HR2749 on the small farmer. The article explains the costs associated with such a regulation and how it doesn’t address food safety at all.
The article also discusses the typical musical chairs played by government employees and private corporate interests, so typical of the USDA, FDA and major corporations. I personally think Monsanto wants to rule the world.
All the wonderful, healthy food I wrote about yesterday could disappear should such an act be passed leaving us all eating out of the hands of a few major food producers who don’t care a thing about you or your children or the future of our planet. They care only about producing garbage the dumbed down population is eating today and maximizing their profit.
Then after you’ve been eating their slop for a couple decades the pharmaceutical industry will cash in on your chronic pain and debility. Corporations will sell you the latest technology gadget to entertain your enfeebled and depressed mind. And your children will be sterile.
Don’t be dumb. Get involved. Care about your food. It’s what makes up the 60,000,000,000,000 or so cells of your body.
