I enjoyed cooking the food I bought yesterday. Each meal took no more than 10 to 15 minutes to prepare. Here’s what I ate yesterday, and for me this seems like a lot of food:
Breakfast
1 small boneless porkchop
3 fried eggs
Snack
1 orange
5 litchi nuts
Lunch
Salad that included:
romaine, red leaf and mesculin mix
1 green onion
1/3 cucumber
2 stalks celery
2 tomatoes
a few kalamata olives
a little feta cheese
dressing made from olive oil, flax oil and balsamic vinegar
Dinner
1 medium grass-fed half-sirloin steak
Broccoli with butter
10 or so slices of salami
I weighed myself before I went to sleep, because I felt like I had ingested a LOT of food. I weighed 159. I went to the bathroom three times in the night and again when I woke up. When I weighed myself I was delighted to find that I weighed 156. Last week I weighed 161. I am only 18 pounds away from my weight goal of 138.

Curious as to why you’re eating so much salami? Isn’t that very high in sodium, and typically contains binders such as wheat and cornstarch? And possibly nitrates/nitrites?
Because I like it. Why do you eat what you do?
No need to be defensive, I was just curious because you seem to be living fairly primal and I wasn’t sure if that was an attempt to get more protein and fat or just eating something you enjoy.
You asked a question and I answered. Then I asked you a question, which you didn’t even acknowledge, but after this brief exchange you feel qualified to assess my mental state. What’s up with that?
Lighten up and go have some salami, Cara.
