I am a cocktail waitress in a new position in Boston and, thankfully, my manager can tell I am a good server. Yet, despite my years in the industry, I never fit in with the other servers in their fake, alcoholic ways. I am always standoffish in the beginning and now I have two of the veterans hating on me. Its wonderful to get bullied by a 40 year old bartender who still thinks she's 20. Waitressing is soul killing. Good luck! I can empathize.
