The doctor wanted to schedule an emergency appendectomy, which I declined. I'm still here and so is my appendix. I lost Tibbs this year to renal failure. But Lyla is still here and she's waiting for her morning mouse to thaw. But I fear her kidneys are also failing, because she's drinking a lot of water.
